We’re thrilled to announce that DARK ROOMS has been selected for Venice Immersive 2025!

Dark Rooms is an immersive VR installation, centering around real people's experiences with finding themselves through sexuality. The piece started developing in 2021 when Mads Damsbo (Makropol) and Laurits Flensted Jensen joined forces with Anne Sofie Steen Sverdrup (Bedside Productions) in a quest to understand the psychology of desire.

Today over 60+ people have taken part in the creation of the piece, with co-production partners NowHere Media (DE) and NAXS Studio (TW) leading the work alongside Morph Film. The project is supported by DFI, MBB and TAICCA. We want to thank every single person who’s taken of creating Dark Rooms!

《Dark Rooms》正式入選 2025 年威尼斯影展的 Venice Immersive 單元，將於今年 8 月於威尼斯全球首映！

《Dark Rooms》是一部多人走動式VR紀錄片，以涵蓋性別、性取向和性偏好的次文化「Kink」為主題，邀請觀眾以開放的眼與心來看待性行為實踐，並深入探索實踐者的私密故事之中。作品以儀式性的體驗、夢境般的意象詮釋多位受訪者的真實故事與經歷，探索他人與自我內心深處最難以企及的地方。

本作由 Morph Film (丹麥)、NowHere Media (德國)、NAXS Studio (台灣) 三方聯合製作，獲得 DFI、MBB 和 TAICCA 的支持。

入選威尼斯影展是一次重要的里程碑，NAXS STUDIO 團隊不僅擔任創意與藝術指導、美術設計、技術開發等關鍵角色，也以共同製作方的身份，深入參與專案的籌資與發行過程。
