RECAP ✦ P2P 2025 — MELBOURNE / PSEUDO
Continuing our P2P 2025 recap, a reciprocal artist residency programme initiated by NAXS STUDIO in Taipei and PSEUDO in Melbourne, connecting new media artists and creative communities across Taiwan and Australia.
This second post follows Taiwanese artist Robert Chang Chien (張簡長倫), whose practice spans filmmaking, photography, and sensory design, with a particular interest in perception, memory, and human experience.
Robert began his residency with a short stay at NAXS STUDIO in Taipei, exchanging ideas with our team on artistic practices, creative processes, and VR technologies. He then travelled to Melbourne for his residency at PSEUDO, where he explored the local art scene through exhibitions and cultural events. Along the way, he also travelled to different parts of Australia, making field recordings and collecting sounds from various environments as part of his ongoing artistic research.
The residency concluded with an Open Studio at PSEUDO, where Robert shared his research and experiences with local artists and creative practitioners. It was a great opportunity to exchange ideas, meet new people, and build connections between the creative communities in Taiwan and Australia.

RECAP ✦ P2P 2025 — MELBOURNE / PSEUDO
