We are thrilled to announce Zheng Jun-Peng (Ely) and d duàn as the recipients for the first P2P 2024 Australia-Taiwan Residency. Congrats !~! >.< With the support of NAXS and Pseudo, these two artists will undergo a cultural exchange and residency over four weeks, both in Taiwan and Melbourne.

💫Ely uses artificial intelligence to disrupt the boundaries between material existence and text, creating new mythological archetypes and realities in the interstice of data and truth. His work combines found objects and various visual media, shaping mythological texts and rituals through a playful process to reveal concealed perspectives.

💫Melbourne-based artist: d duàn
d duàn is an experimental A/V artist preoccupied with body, tech, spatial magik/rituals, and a
desire to understand humanity's enduring reach for transcendence through technology (enhance/evolve/upgrade).

Their proposed project builds upon on-going prototyping of gesture-controlled A/V systems, further deconstructing the rich iconography of hand-sigils and mudras in Taoist and East Asian Buddhist traditions. The project is interested in re-encoding visuals, sound, and symbols into a sensory spectacle that resonates on both spiritual and technological levels.

我們非常開心地宣布今年【 P2P 2024 臺灣-澳洲工作室進駐計劃 】的入選者。歡迎鄭君朋（Ely）和 d duàn 加入！>.< 在 NAXS 和 Pseudo 的支持下，這兩位入選藝術家將進行為期四週的進駐交流，並分別在台灣和墨爾本發展他們的藝術創作。

💫台灣藝術家：Ely利用人工智慧打破物質存在與文本之間的界限，在數據與真實的縫隙中創造出新的神話原型和現實。他的作品結合了現成物與多種視覺媒介，透過遊戲化的過程形塑神話文本與儀式，揭示被隱藏的視角。
💫墨爾本藝術家：d duàn 是一位實驗音像藝術家，對於身體、技術、空間魔法/儀式以及人類透過技術來追求超越自我的渴望（強化/進化/升級）深感興趣。
他以手勢控制影音系統的原型基礎上，進一步解構道教和東亞佛教傳統中的手印和手勢符號學。其計畫核心在於重新編碼視覺、聲音和符號，打造在精神和技術層面上產生共鳴的感官體驗。
