P2P 2025 RECAP — NAXS STUDIO × PSEUDO

Looking back at P2P 2025, a reciprocal artist residency programme initiated by NAXS STUDIO in Taipei and PSEUDO in Melbourne. Through artist exchanges, the programme connects new media art communities across Taiwan and Australia, fostering cross-cultural dialogue, artistic research, and collaboration.

This first recap focuses on Australian artist Olivia Koh’s residency in Taiwan. Exploring the intersections of historical publications, local memory, and imaging technologies, Olivia conducted field research in Kinmen and visited libraries in Taiwan to uncover archival materials related to Hsien Ying (顯影) magazine, tracing connections between photography, publishing, and regional histories.

Throughout the residency, we also introduced Olivia to Taiwan’s contemporary media art and immersive storytelling scenes through visits to TTXC, the Kaohsiung Film Festival, and VAHUB, creating opportunities for exchange with local artists and cultural practitioners.

To conclude the residency, NAXS STUDIO hosted an Open Studio, bringing together members of Taiwan’s art community for an informal gathering of research sharing and open dialogue, extending the conversations and connections developed throughout the programme.

P2P 2025 RECAP — NAXS STUDIO × PSEUDO
