We’re excited to share that the NAXS team has traveled to Austin, USA, together with the immersive VR experience Dark Rooms for its presentation at the SXSW Festival.

This marks the first presentation of Dark Rooms in the United States, following its premiere at the Venice International Film Festival last year. The work has received an enthusiastic response and strong engagement from audiences at SXSW.

The exhibition also brought together collaborators from Denmark, Germany, and Taiwan once again, while welcoming new partners from the United States, opening up new opportunities for the project’s future.

As the SXSW showcase comes to a close, we look forward to the next phase of distribution for Dark Rooms in the U.S., and to sharing the work with broader audiences ahead.
